A Lovely Day

Up and out for breakfast which was rather nice. Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, but you probably could have guessed I'd have had that. Then we went shopping for shoes for dad. I wasn't in town for anything for me although I returned home with a pair of shoes, a pair of long boots and a pair of ankle boots....didn't i do well. Dad did get his shoes as well.

Then it was off to buy some boxes as we need to clear out the white room...what a job that will be. We are going to start in the loft and work our way down. If it rains in the week I might make a start on that by myself.

Home to work in the garden. More brambles and nettles cut down. It's such a big job. Once I've cut it all down I then need to dig up the roots. Once that's done I'll scatter grass seed. It should look really nice next year.

Dad cooked a really lovely dinner. Well worth downing the garden tools to come in for.

Right now it's raining outside but I'm all snuggled up on the sofa, candles burning, waiting for Downton to come on...in the meantime X factor can entertain me.
