Hi Mum

After being under sedation for over a week, Callum hasn't done much more than open one eye occasionally to make sure he wasn't missing anything too interesting, but today was much more alert, and keeping a close eye on his Mum. We suspect he was trying a mental plea to have less wires and cables, but sadly at the moment he's stuck with them. More gunk being removed from his lungs, but his tummy isn't great today. Very, very hard to leave and come back south again this afternoon.
