Alpenglow...

Spur of the moment we decided to head out on a short camping trip, the fall weather has been beautiful albeit a tad cold at night in the mountains.
I grabbed a glass of wine, tripod and camera and headed down to the lake to watch the sunset. It was pretty spectacular and as the final color faded away I looked one more time back to the east, the Selkirk range, and just like a switch had been flipped, they lit up. This was for me the best example of alpenglow that I have ever seen. It was so breath taking, and although I love it just as much in mono...I think I will go with color today...I hope everyone had a great week-end!
