Alfresco October

Gwyn and Lloyd (right) were born on the same day but didn't meet until they both started secondary school. Gwyn went on to university and gained a couple of English degrees, Lloyd went on fishing boats (see 3 years ago)* before becoming a highly-qualified deep-sea diver. Over the years they've kept up their friendship and always make time to meet when they coincide back at home.
I love the way that they have taken such different paths in life yet remain firm friends.

It's been another beautiful day and Gwyn was eating a late breakfast outside before they headed off to swim and rock-scramble a few miles up the coast. Despite the sunshine wet suits were required for spending time in the water.

Unlike seal pups, three more of which have been born in our nearest cove: stand by for further seal blips!

*According to Lloyd, that yesterday's conger eel can give you a nasty bite with its backward facing teeth.
