'FOUND'

Yesterday Mrs Muir lost one of her good pearl ear-rings. We searched the Church and hall where we had been for a soup lunch but to no avail. In the afternoon we had been for a lengthy walk along country lane and forest track so this morning we decided to retrace our steps in the hope of finding it. To me it was like looking for a needle in a haystack but we set off eyes down scanning the roadway. Fifteen minutes into our walk, lo and behold there it was lying in the middle of the road on the bumpy tarmac. A real miracle I would say and now a very happy Mrs Muir.
