Sentry box, Fremantle prison

This is one of four now disused sentry boxes that covered the inner courtyard of the now defunct Fremantle Prison. Its a stark reminder of a justice system that thankfully has gone. The place is now a museum with many historical tales to tell.
It is a place one would never want to be incarcerated and I think a visit there today would be a deterrent for any 'would-bes' considering a life of crime.
It's the only World Heritage listed building in Western Australia and joins ten other Australian convict sites listed under Convictism - Forced Migration.
