No more.
Well, after a good long chat with the vet at the weekend we have decided that we should put Lenny back on his medication.
There is absolutely no doubt that without the Prednisone and the Pentoxifilina he is suffering, and in truth, for however short his life may or may not be we are determined that it is a comfortable one.
By Saturday (11th) his tail was so inflamed it had started dying again. His blood doesn’t flow as it should so there is little or no circulation in the tail and it is a heart breaking sight watching him trying to run away from his own tail.
Consequently we are going to try and support his liver the best way we can with home cooked food and natural therapy.
When we found the boy we didn’t expect him to have any kind of future. As it is he will be three this December, and now back on the medication completely he is his usual cheeky, lovable self and it is lovely to see.
The healing still has a long way to go, particularly with the tail again, but we are getting there and as long as he is happy and contented then this is all that we can ask.
