Poppies

We are producing an installation based on the one at the Tower of London for our Remembrance Day Service at school. Each pupil is making a ceramic poppy for the display. This is taking a long time as each batch has to be biscuit fired, then glazed and put back in the kiln to be gloss fired. The photo shows a small batch of work in progress! Hopefully all of the effort will be worth it with hundreds of shiny red and black ceramic poppies carpeting the Hall.
