Stone Built

Had some bric a brac to collect from the south of the island this morning and Mike pointed out the wonderful stone work on this old byre. Go large to see it in better detail. The skill involved must have been extraordinary.

The sale went really well, even a couple of blippers from the West Mainland came to sample the soup and scones and make some purchases. It was a long and busy day but we made £680 for the village hall and Mike and I won a bottle of gin in the raffle! Well worth it!
