View of Oxford

This is the view from my room, looking over the back of the buildings that compose Second Quad and also a church spire (although I don't actually know which it is). It's a pretty nice view to look out to and seems quintessentially Oxford.

Today we went to the University wide Freshers' Fair which was quite overwhelming - there is so much to take in! I signed up for quite a few societies and clubs but I am sure that I will end up unsubscribing from the majority of them and focussing on just a few specific clubs and societies. It's so amazing though to see how much range and variety there is and that there really is something for everybody to get involved in if they so wish.

In the evening we went to a club called Lava Ignite (but everybody calls it Park End) and it was quite possibly the most enjoyable night out I've had. There are a few different floors which have different music and the cheese floor is my favourite. It plays all of the cheesy songs you remember from growing up and it's just so much fun to dance and sing along and just let go!
