Inviting the sky in.

As the build progresses I am slowly understanding the new space that is emerging. When the foundations were dug and the concrete poured in, I couldn't imagine what it would look like. Now with the timber frame up and the roof taking shape - I can imagine us filling it with our noise and making it part of our home. This evening I sat inside the shell of the room with my obligatory cup of tea and felt as though I had invited the sky in.
