River near Crummock Water

This is the first day of an LPH photographic holiday. JanetH and I planned go out before breakfast to try to capture some misty shots over Bassenthwaite but no luck as it wasn't misty! However we did get some sunrise shots instead!
Later all 10 of us in the group led by John Gravett went to Crummock water which was beautiful. This was an attempt at taking a shot using a 'big stopper' with John's help.
We had a great day and the weather was dry and intermittently sunny which was lovely. The autumn colours are just starting too, so it is a great time to come!
