Sheltering from the storm.

A truly blustery day here. In fact I think waterproofs may be required for all of this week. And into the next. Our Indian summer has definitely gone.

In between the showers, a short local walk bought me across these two fine race horses. (I know they are champions because they are on the race course estate my favourite walk cuts through.) Their owners had thoughtfully provided colourful coats to keep off the very worst of the weather.
