The adventures of a hat

Yesterday's game with Grandad of riding on the gates (always at the hinge end) continued today. Had another go at tree photos and nearly went for the boys and Grandma investigating a split trunked beech. It was the hat that clinched today's blip choice. Definitely needed in the brisk wind on top of Latrigg. D had got too warm for coat and fleece by the time he'd run down but was pretend mountain biking so had to keep his helmet on! Was proud of them both for stomping on in the wind all the way to the top.
