Loose ends

Midnight, and time for bed! Just tying up a few loose ends before I go away tomorrow (today!). Ordering heating oil, arranging for the chimney to be swept, sending birthday cards..
I did get out a couple of times today, first for a walk in the autumn sunshine and then in the evening it was the first of three Open Nights for Samba Sisters . Two women came along to try drumming - funnily enough both of them were from South America - Deanna from Colombia and Julie from Brazil. We had a lot of fun learning a piece called Afoxe.
