Doing something amazing !!!!

Giving someone a chance of life by creating a life, the guys and girls of the Anthony Nolan charity are based at QMC and are on hand to accept donations of cord blood and placentas for stem cell research to help those with genetic and cancer ailments.
Something Kim wanted to do with us being in the middle of Joseph's treatment, not just for the chance it may be for Joe but someone else who is a match and to benefit them in their future.
Thousands of babies are born here in the UK every year and most of the cords etc are disposed of as not required for further use, these are beneficial for having ultra pure bloods inside them, sometimes they could have been used for those unfortunate people who missed out on life saving transfusion ???
Apparently the girls on shift the night Kim and Jack gave theirs reported back to us saying it were a good quantity of good bloods donated, a job well done :)
