Rainbow Lorikeet

My first iconic Australian bird. The tree outside my son's house is full of the birds - we can hear them chattering away. However they are so hard to find amongst the dense foliage despite the bright colours, as they have a dark green back. They are nectar eaters and appear to be licking the nectar from these flowers - although someone may want to correct me on this.
