Onshore Windpower is cheapest

Onshore wind-power is the cheapest source of energy, an EU study has found.


Not only have the Conservatives (with the aid of the Liberal Democrats) ensured that you and I will be paying twice the current going rate for electricity for the next thirty five years for constructing a new generation of nuclear power reactors at Hinckley Point C, but they have also opted to shift from the cheaper onshore to more expensive offshore wind farms.

That means you and I will be paying more than we need to for sustainable, clean energy so that a small minority of the Conservatives' core supporters who dislike the look of wind turbines will not have their view spoilt when they look out their kitchen window in the morning.
