BB, our ten year-old black Labrador, is starting to show his age. He sports quite a distinguished gray beard now, and his hips are increasingly stiff and creaky. All his life, he's been happy sleeping on the floor, or on an old beach towel lining the bottom of his crate, but recently I decided he really deserved something more comfortable and suitable for his advancing years, so I purchased this heart-stoppingly expensive memory foam bed for him. It's placed in the coziest corner of the family room, and all his favourite toys are piled there (he likes to sleep surrounded by them). Does he wile away his dotage comfortably stretched out on this fancy mattress? Nope. Absolutely not. He shows 100% zero interest in it!!!!
