Quinine

Irn Bru contains quinine...didn't know that until today.

Quinine was originally used to treat malaria...wonder if The 'Bru works against midges?....if it did we would have heard by now.

It has painkilling and anti-inflammatory properties too. When combined with bacon rolls, Irn Bru can stop most hangovers within 2hrs, sometimes in under an hour.

I have never heard this said but apparently the glass bottles are sometimes referred to as "Gless Cheques".

Anyway it does taste better out the glass bottle...doesn't it?
