Fireside

What a brilliant day! Ok, it was only 12ºC and there was a brisk NE wind. but the sun shone brightly and we had such a good fire that even after all the sausages had been cooked and consumed it was still giving out a fierce heat that made sitting on the beach (Glenfinart Bay, Ardentinny) not only possible but pleasurable.

After the fire had been subdued (it proved very hard to extinguish a large, smouldering log) we had an adventure hike through the woods to the forest road and down in a circle.

And now I have to start cooking again ...
