Dank weather.....

......just what Fungi like.

This Coprinus AKA Inkcap was all alone in quite a large area which is pretty unusual as they so often come in clumps.

These are fascinating mushrooms as they rapidly deliquesce, turning the gills into black ink which you can just see starting around the base of the head.

Once again nature amazes me and is totally awesome.

Go large to see the detail and spot the spider.
