Rock pools

We had a great day today, Dad had to work in the morning but Mum, Spencer and I went for a walk along the beach. It was really hot though and Spence got tired of walking so we only went for about 45 mins. We found a piece of drift wood on the sand so Mum wrote Spencer's name in the sand and then the alphabet! Spence was running up and down beside all the letters yelling out the ones he knew!

Dad got home from work about lunchtime and Spence was still asleep so Dad and I went down to the beach while Mum stayed with Spence. I went for a surf and Dad went for a swim. The waves didn't look like much when we first went down, but they picked up and were pretty strong. I caught heaps and even stood up on quite a few!

Once Spence had woken up the four of us went to Waratah Bay and looked at the rock pools that were exposed because the tide was out. Spence had a great time wading in the warm water and throwing sea weed about!
