birthday treat

He's 37 but we took him to Legoland and he loved it.

It was a fantastic day out, so much to see and do. Knight's castles, pirate ships, rides on fire-engines, hot air balloons, and diggers. And the most amazing mini-world all made of lego.
I even got dragged onto a rollercoaster myself, and a much steeper and scarier one than this. I screamed.
Other highlights included a ride in a submersible through an aquarium containing some very large tropical fish, manta rays and - great excitement - sharks !
And a live and very funny pirate show with lots of explosions and swordfights and sailors falling into the water from a great height.

Great stuff altogether.
