Basking

October Word Challenge Day 14: Luxury

A bit of a tenuous link but I do find living in Orkney is just utter luxury. To see the views I see every day and to witness special moments like this - A seal basking in the afternoon sun. The sea was flat calm and a small group of seals appeared from nowhere to watch me, My Love and the dogs looking for groatie buckies. I sat for a while, watching them watching me. Bliss.

It has been a beautiful day here and it was good to walk at the shore again. Life is good. Very good :)
