After the rain.

I managed a short walk with Jim this afternoon. We went to the Reservoir just down the road from our house.
It's been raining all day and it was nice to get out. It was quiet and peaceful with just the sounds if rain drops falling through the trees. Everything seemed so fresh and green. The bushes and trees were laced with cobwebs that had caught tiny drops of rain - quite beautiful.

The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider's web.
