Birds of a feather flock together

Not a bad day again. A nice sunrise for a few minutes until the sun had risen enough to hide behind the cloud. It did come back out later and we went over to Udale bay to check out the birds.
The tide was in so plenty of birds on the raised grassy banks. Birds of a feather definitely flock together. The oyster catchers were lined up facing one way and the curlews bringing up the rear. Gulls were in the middle with lapwing. Ducks, mallards, teal and wigeon were on the water.I was expecting to see some geese but think they must have gone out to the fields as I did nt see any here but did on the way home.
A couple of gun shots sent them all up into the air . They soon settled back down and we did nt hear any more bangs.
