Rocket Pincusion

I had a meeting at the school today that was a little late in starting so I had a wander through the garden at the far end from where our offices are.

It was sad to see it being a wee bit overgrown but the ground staff had started clearing areas so hopefully it will not be long until more of these unusual flowers are uncovered for all to see.

It's been a hot one, hitting 33 and still no sign of rain. Maybe tomorrow.
