The Post Office near where I work has these super modern stamp machines. They'll weigh your letters and dispense the right post. Or you can buy stamps to take away and use later - the machine prints them while you wait.

It's a great way of using up all the loose change that accumulates over a few days. It's like playing a slot machine but you always get a prize.
