Rust never sleeps

This is the trailer that our neighbour used to deliver the cow manure that he kindly gave us. I think it's just as well he only had to come from next door! I bet this trailer has seen a lot of use. I admit that I've not emptied it yet. Our gift is still inside.

Today I did plant our new shrubs and as a by product have used the turf I took up to cover my first hugelkultur bed. That will be planted up later with fruit bushes, veggies and perhaps asparagus.
