He was right there - I couldn't help it.

Last night mr lg9 told me that I was a nerd and couldn't believe that this had never come up before (for the record, it hasn't. that I know of). I asked if it was the birdwatching - he said that certainly didn't help. Then he said maybe it was because I wasn't interested in fashion and makeup. And read a lot of books. And then, thankfully, he stopped talking.
