Leash Objection
Dillon does not like the collar or the leash he has to wear so that I can walk him. As a matter of fact, his way of protesting is to sit down and refuse to budge. You can that is exactly what he is doing in this photo. I'm on the other end of that blue leash and he looks at me as if I have to be kidding.
I have to give a tug to get him up and moving. However, whenever he feels like it, he will just sit or lay down on the grass and refuse to move. I felt bad so I went out to get him a harness and thought it might be a more gentle way of walking him. Well he slipped right out of it. I guess it needed to be more snug. He is deceiving because he has so much fur. His body is actually very small.
My husband discovered this afternoon that if he would start to run, Dillon would run too. I told my husband I am NOT running. That could be his fun with Dillon.
I'm sure it's just a matter of getting used to things. He is just a baby after all. I guess I assumed all dogs liked going for a walk. Silly me.
