it's another footpath!

A longer walk today in the area north of Keswick where the scenery changes and fewer people explore. I could have stopped at Grasmere where Helm Crag looked beautiful in the morning sun but stuck to my plan and headed over Dunmail Raise where it turned very grey.

10½ miles in total, through woodland, along fellside paths and returning along the old railway track. I admit to being disappointed with some of the photos, especially as it’s my 500th consecutive blip today. I’ve learnt so much since starting my journey here - just didn’t put it all into practice!

Many thanks to everyone who has helped me reach this stage from the viewers to those at Blip central and also everyone who posts such amazing and inspiring photos.

A week ago I was composing my farewell speech. It’s been a wonderful 500 days but has been extremely time consuming. But ….. I never finished it. Blip gets me out taking photos when otherwise I might stay indoors, and I love looking at other journals (too many). I’m not sure what happens next …. some lessons in time management perhaps!
