We said goodbye to M and I and headed north towards La Rochelle. A stunning day with clear blue skies and temperature pleasantly set at 23C. The over night stop was on an Ostrich farm. I wonder who eats this meat? We unloaded the bikes for a ride along the coast, this is a big area for farming oysters with masses of oyster beds. On the way along the coastal track there was a small group huddled over something on the waters edge with a few cameras going off. We could see what looked to be the release of conger eels, about 6 who needed some persuading to swim out into the wide wide sea. Large may be better
