A very wet dog

Despite the incessant rain, Russet and I went off for our walk this morning as usual. She galloped about, rolled in the wet grass and checked out the badger sett.
Fortunately Golden Retrievers have an undercoat which keeps them dry, and after a rub down she was quite respectable again!
It was a big day out in the workshop, as my husband and his friend attached the number plates to the restored vintage car.
This sounds very simple, but getting a number from the DVLA, and then making up the plates, was more complicated than you would ever dream of!
The hood is almost completed and is looking good. The day of its first ride out on the road is getting nearer!?
