A wedding week: No 3 the early teens

These pictures represent the adolescent transition which was an interesting if challenging period. Though I think I was relatively lucky with H she certainly had her moments and mood swings were a constant feature of this period. It was the unpredictability of her behaviour that was difficult sometimes but most of the time we worked through it and she began to grow up quickly.

Being a three person household she often had the final say in how we did things and she managed to manipulate her brother into swapping rooms so she ended up with a much bigger room. To be fair she used it constantly whereas J tended to be downstairs more often. Purple walls were a bit challenging but she painted them so why not! The room became her domain dominated first by cat sculptures and pictures then boys and pop stars as she got older!
