fifteens

Made classic Northern Irish treats, Fifteens, to bring to a friend today. He's a colleague of Pierre's dad, and we had lunch with him at his newly revamped restaurant/café.

Annie and I made a castel. It's a French gateau with three layers of thin sponge sandwiched together by praline buttercream.

Visited Pierre's aunt Patricia in the afternoon. She's lovely!

Final of The Great British Bake Off tonight. I was so pleased Nancy won, although they were all worthy of the crown.
