Extreme Weather Alert

We've suddenly jumped up into summer temperatures and it reached 35c by 2 o'clock this afternoon.

As I staggered across to the shops to get some lunch at 1.30 it felt like I might shrivel up, turn to dust and blow away in the hot northerly breeze!!

We walked after work as usual but it wasn't pleasant! There was smoke in the air from a fire somewhere and the light was quite reddish!

I stopped in front of this funny old brick wall to look at a new bit of graffiti lit by the late afternoon red light and snapped a shot. It seemed to sum up the day of extreme heat!
