Foreshorten

It's what happens the distant objects when you put a big 280 mm lens plus x1.4 teleconverter on the front of your camera for an effective 400 mm focal length. :)

Playing a bit with the big gun on the rangefinder camera. No hope for focusing precisely unless through hyperfocal technique or the old fashioned 'guess and try'. I wanted to keep the distant objects blury and so resorted to the later. :) This was the best one out of the lot.

I really like how the depth is compressed with the Torre Velasca building in the background. A boom on a tower crane in focus in the foreground and the big counterweights of another tower crane poking out from behind an apartment building. No cropping other than slightly straightening the photo.
