Supply & Bee-Mand
I recently blipped two bees gnoshing on a flower center. It appeared strange to see solitary bees sharing like that. Well, as the rate of available pollen declines the bees just want that they can get before hibernating. This is one of a few goldenrod plants still in flower in the wild garden. I chopped down those that have gone to seed and set the hoard out for the Village workers pick up.
I counted at least 8 bees on this single flower head. Yesterday it looked like this too, but I was busy blipping breakfast. They eat theirs all day.
Belying the bee gossip, there is no shortage of bees here-- the little darlings!
