Mushroomed

My last day up north as I’m heading home tomorrow, so it was good to see that some recommendations I’d made to improve certain areas of our business had been acted upon.

In other news I was told today that my friend, who also left us to go to my new company, had been promised the earth and was let down badly. Also that it is a very highly pressurised environment to work in, very stressful. Did I want to reconsider? If only I could have given the answer that I wanted to give ;) It’s amazing how things have mushroomed this week to the sudden interest in my new company; it’s a pity my current company hadn’t shown the same level of interest in my career development months ago.
