The Flowers of Autumn

We are sad to see the colours of summer fade. But we can rejoice in the beauty of a remarkable range of seed heads. Clematis in particular are very photogenic and it was difficult to decide whether to blip the single head shown or fill the frame with a large number all in pristine condition.

In the end the single won the day.
