Sunrise Over the Atlantic

I went down to the beach at 6:00 a.m. and was greeted by nothing but sand, water, a gentle warm breeze, and a hint of light in the eastern sky. This is the spot where I sat and waited just over an hour for the sun to come up. Mother Nature was kind by sending this cluster of clouds through about 7:10 a.m. Had it not been for these clouds, this would have been a pretty boring photograph.

The sun only stayed out about an hour and clouds started to roll in. We are in for some pretty severe weather later this evening and then tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful and sunny.
