Ta-dah!

So here it is. Completely finished, with some of our stuff in it (including my lunch) and from the other end. It really is such a transformation from the space it was and we are all much happier being in here. Everything is easy to find and there are no more pokey little drawers and cupboards that failed to have a distinct purpose and as such attracted all manor of random stuff.

Appropriate blip really as today has very much been a home day. They are few and far between at the moment and much appreciated when they pop along. Today was unexpected as I was due to be on a school trip to the British Museum with Anna's class but once it had been uncancelled due to the cancelled tube strike it had to be recancelled due to the museum strike.

I always think it's a treat when you have some unexpected time. Or it certainly felt like it today when a day in the home office has helped shift a tonne of work and eased my anxiety along with it.
