The Upper Falls Aira Force

Katkatkat is down for a few days to support her Mum during the trying times ahead. While CC was up at the hospital visiting I picked her up from the station and we went supermarket shopping. Having a love of cooking and being an excellent cook she generally takes over all things culinary during her visits.

CC had before setting off to Carlisle put a couple of red balloons into the car, so after a quick cuppa at home (unloading shopping) we set off looking for suitable photographic sites. While she is at home we generally try to visit scenery she doesn't see while in Edinburgh. As we drove along I was listing places we might go and it turned out she couldn't remember ever visiting the upper falls at Aira Force. So that was the decision made.

I will refrain from ranting about how busy the one quiet area has become ( I did enough of that on the 4th May). Fortunately there was nobody else there! I wasn't looking forward to explaining what we were trying to do with red balloons!
