Jack and Jill

That's the subject my childminder used when mailing me this photo today, of Matthew and her daughter playing in the park. He did fall down, just gently, then apparently turned round so he was trying to get up again with his feet higher up the hill than his head - oops. When I came to pick them up they were both diligently trying to catch up to a large ginger cat - when we got close i crouched down and made hello cat noises while rubbing my fingers together and it came out to be stroked - was rather sweet to see her little girl trying it herself straight afterwards (though with less success).

After a couple of wake ups overnight last night Matthew was very tired today, so had a slightly early night. Perhaps his parents should aim to get to bed at least 20 minutes earlier too!
