A Rare Sight

I often hear wrens calling, but very rarely see them. In the gloom this morning, while I was trying to photograph one of the nuthatches, I saw where the shrill note was coming from.

I love the distinct profile of the wren so I've converted it to mono and adjusted the levels to get the silhouette.

The Mother was wakeful today and we were able to have a great chat.
