Morning Line-up

Can't help blipping Pelicans. These three aren't even slightly worried about the dangerous currents described on the sign posts. Neither was I: watched from the beach.

Not bad though. Day 1 on Clearwater Beach. Cloudy to start. Low 80's and sunny after noon. Toured the beach towns today. Found a couple of pretty cool places and, if you like the ocean, it's hard not to be impressed by Tampa Bay.

Add to all that, the hotel is nice; we have an ocean view, and I think there's a jazz festival on the beach, Thursday thru Sunday. We're here to Saturday; that sounds promising.
