Transition Day
This was transition day -- fog all day -- we never saw the ocean today. Our weather turned from the heat of summer to the chill of winter.
Mr. Fun arrived here this morning. I drove up late last Thursday, but he didn't come with me. This morning our son-in-law had plans to leave southern California to drive to the San Francisco Bay area to work for the week, so Mr. Fun hitched a ride with him and they made a detour off the main highway to come out here to the Central Coast.
It was so good to have Mr. Fun join me and the three pooches. We've had a good weekend without him; the alone time and the quiet were nice but just for so long. The pups went absolutely crazy when the guys arrived here.
After our son-in-law left, the two of us drove a couple blocks to the downtown area and stopped at "Duckies" for lunch. Then we took a drive over to the Library. I wanted to look through the magazines in the friends of the library store. It was fun to see the Diana, the librarian that we had gotten to know this past summer. We stopped at the Post Office to explain that mail is still being delivered to this house.
So that's the report of Transition Day.

P.S. And Chloe thought she ought to warm my lap tonight so I captured this photo of her being a little pest, but I love her immensely.
