Athena & Atticus

Meet Athena (on the right). She is the 2nd youngest of the herd. Athena came to me along with Angus. She had been run over by a ute and sustained a few nasty injuries (no broken bones thankfully). I was concerned that her wounds (plus what turned out to be a nasty hernia) would become infected but she pulled through and survived. She is the most skittish of the herd but sometimes her curiosity overrides her fears and she will come and inspect what you are doing. If you are lucky she will attempt to groom you (imagine being groomed by a scouring pad).
